Michelin Launches 15 New CrossClimate2 Tire Sizes

The tire is now available in 70 sizes.

The Michelin CrossClimate2 tire is now available in sizes that cover most of North America’s most popular cars and crossovers.

The CrossClimate2 launched in 2020. The tire was initially available in 25 sizes, then 30 additional sizes were launched in early 2021. With phase three of the launch, the tire is now available in 70 sizes.

According to the company, the CrossClimate2 is a passenger tire in the all-season category that delivers multiple performance attributes such as wet stopping, longevity, dry grip and snow performance. The CrossClimate2 has a V-formation tread pattern that works together with the tire’s rubber compound, Michelin says.

As with many outdoor hobbies that increased in popularity during the pandemic, an uptick in off-road enthusiasts was the result of people shifting their leisure time to outdoor pursuits. A growing number of drivers needed mud-terrain (M/T) tires for traversing through mud, gripping rocks, digging into sand and exploring other treacherous terrains.
