Pennsylvania-based McCarthy Tire Service has purchased Manassas, Va.-based Hartman Fleet Services, Inc.  

“We are very excited to add this expanded mechanical service to our existing team. This acquisition fits in perfectly with our strategic plan, and it reflects our emphasis on providing a comprehensive plan to address all the vehicle needs of our commercial customers,” said John D. McCarthy, Jr., president of McCarthy Tire Service.

Since 1995, Hartman Fleet Services has provided heavy mechanical services, fleet maintenance and repair, and mobile mechanical services to customers in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. The Hartman team will relocate to McCarthy’s existing location in Manassas effective immediately, the company said.

McCarthy Tire has 45 locations along the East Coast.  It’s Manassas facility offers tires, retreading, and heavy mechanical services and mobile mechanical services for commercial vehicles. Additionally, McCarthy Tire’s 24-hour commercial roadside assistance program for fleets across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.
