Marangoni Updates Dealers in Nashville

(Akron/Tire Review) Marangoni Tread N.A. (MTNA) recently held a two-day meeting in Nashville, Tenn., for its North American dealers.

“Building Our Future” was the theme of the meeting, which included presentations by 23 Marangoni Ringtread dealers. In addition, dealers were able to tour the Ringtread manufacturing facility in Madison, Tenn., and learn about recent upgrades to the Alpha-Ring production facility. MTNA doubled production capacity of its Madison plant in August 2005.

The company also introduced new Ringtread designs and product line extensions to dealers. More designs will be introduced in the second half of 2007, Marangoni said.

Attendees also had a chance to view a video of the new RT3000 dual-headed extruder/builder, which will see its first U.S. installation in February at Bergey’s Tire Service in Perkasie, Pa. The first RT3000 has been in service at Systeme De Rechapage RTS in Quebec since June.

Finally, MTNA unveiled a new advertising campaign that will begin in December, several Web site upgrades and a pledge to continue to support sales and technical training within dealer organizations.
