The $5 million deal for the property, located near Nashville, Tenn., will give Marangoni the ability to further expand, according to the company.
Marangoni occupies the former Pirelli Armstrong plant in Madison, a suburb of Nashville.
The site covers some 20 acres, with 14,000 square meters under roof.
In addition to the purchase, Marangoni will assume direct control of the warehouse operations, which it had previously contracted out.
“Now, approximately 75% of the North American demand can be met locally,” said Bill Sweatman, Maragoni Tread North America chairman, of the purchase. “This expansion will help us to further improve our response to customer service requirements.”
