Marangoni Adds A to Z Tire Amarillo to Ringtread Network

(Akron/Tire Review) Marangoni Tread North America (MTNA) has added A to Z Tire in Amarillo, Texas, to its network of Ringtread plants.

A to Z Tire is a fourth-generation, family-owned commercial tire dealership with 21 locations in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Montana. In 1999, A to Z Tire installed its first Ringtread system in its San Antonio location and began servicing the south, central and north Texas markets.

The dealership’s second Ringtread plant, located in Amarillo, will allow the dealership to serve current fleet accounts in north Texas and also pursue new business in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Montana.

With this addition, there are now 23 Marangoni Ringtread plants in the U.S. and Canada, MTNA said.

Hercules Tire and Rubber Company (HTR), a subsidiary of American Tire Distributors (ATD), recently introduced the Ag-Trac F-2, a robust tire designed for multiple farm surfaces, HTR said. This tire is offered in two 16-in. sizes for 2WD front tractor wheel positions.

According to HTR, the Ag-Trac F-2 is built to withstand the demands of farm work, with a durable construction that ensures long-lasting performance. Its design allows for traction and grip on a variety of surfaces, making it ideal for use in fields, pastures and other agricultural environments. In addition to its durability, the company said its Ag-Trac F-2 also offers precise control and maneuverability, which it said is essential for navigating tight spaces and making sharp turns in the field.
