Police have arrested three suspects in a tire theft ring that stole thousands of dollars worth of medium truck tires in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Authorities have been investigating the ring after thieves broke into a business in June 2014. Police believe the same suspects were responsible for three similar break-ins in 2014 and another five this year, authorities said. In total, $57,500 worth of tires and tools was stolen.
Police found that the stolen tires were being resold at a tire shop in the North Inkster Industrial Park in Winnipeg. The three suspects face a number of charges.
