MaddenCo Expands Into Canada

Two Canadian tire dealers have signed on to use MaddenCo’s Internet-based ASP Tire Dealer System.

Signing on were Frisby Tire Co. of Ottawa, and Denray Tire Ltd. of Winnepeg, Manitoba.

“At this time, with the recent passing of MaddenCo’s founder, Greg Madden, I think it is important that we make this statement about our expansion into Canada,” said Jay Adams, MaddenCo vice president. “We are fortunate to have been chosen by the folks at Frisby Tire and Denray Tire to begin this endeavor. We look forward to providing Frisby Tire, Denray Tire and other Canadian tire dealers with the same services that we have been providing domestically for over 30 years.” (Tire Review/Akron)

Giti Tire announces winners of STEAM competition

New this year, the winning teams from each division will progress to compete out of state.

Giti Tire revealed the winners of its STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Competition in Chester County, SC, where the company's first North American manufacturing facility stands.

Winners included Great Falls Elementary School in the Elementary Division; Chester Middle School in the Middle School Division; and Lewisville High School in the High School Division.
