Lord Wins Product Award at NACE

(Akron/Tire Review) Lord Corp., which produces bonding products for automotive body repair, said its new tire coating products won a new-product award at last year’s National Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE), held in Las Vegas.

Lord’s Fusor 250 Tire Shield took third place in the “New Products Category” at the NACE Show, with attendees serving as judges for the awards.

According to Lord, Fusor 250 is a “coating system that bonds directly to the tire surface to create a long-lasting glossy black shine.” The non-silicone product reportedly protects tires from discoloration or cracking, does not wash off, and lasts for up to six months.

Lord said the product is priced at $34.95 per kit and is available through local Fusor jobbers.

VIP Tires Donates Nearly $3,000 to Marshfield School Committee

VIP Tire’s “Oil Changes for Education” program raises funds for local schools.

VIP Tires & Service announced that it made a nearly $3,000 donation to the Marshfield School Committee. As part of its longstanding “Oil Changes for Education” program, VIP donates proceeds from $10 oil changes to local schools, and Dustin Tourinho, manager of the Marshfield location, handed a $2,870 check to the commission Sept. 12.
