Longtime Tire Industry Sales Leader Retiring

After more than 55 years in the tire industry, Robert Dalotto plans to retire in March 2016.

Dalotto began working for the U.S. Rubber Co., now Uniroyal, in 1961. When Michelin North America purchased the company in 1991, he served as regional manager.

After retiring in 1995 after 35 years with Uniroyal and Michelin, Dalotto joined the now defunct American Car Care Centers as a sales manager. From 1996 through 2000, he worked for Long Island, N.Y.-based Wholesale Tire Co.

Dalotto is retiring from Moosic, Pa.-based Jack Williams Tire Co. and has been with the tire dealer since 2002.

“Bob has been a cornerstone of the industry,” says long-time friend Al Breese. “He has seen this business evolve tremendously over the course of his career. Bob has a wealth of experience and knowledge seldom seen in the tire industry and we wish him well in his future endeavors.”
