Hunter Engineering Co. received the 2011 North American Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award for its HawkEye Elite alignment system and Auto34 leverless tire changer.
The award was presented to Nick Colarelli, Hunter executive vice president, at the SEMA Show. The award and analysis report is on display in Hunter’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo booth (#41031).
“Hunter Engineering’s recent advances in automotive service equipment design speeds inspection and service processes, reduces the risk of damage, simplifies equipment operation and employee training, enhances customer satisfaction, decreases equipment obsolescence, and makes service businesses more profitable,” Frost & Sullivan noted.
Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the award to a company that has demonstrated uniqueness in developing a technology that significantly impacts both the functionality and the customer value of new products and applications.
