Live at SEMA: Falken Launches UHP Ziex ZE950 A/S

Falken Tire unveiled its all-new ultra high performance, all-season tire, the Ziex ZE950 A/S, which the company said provides maximum performance in a wide range of climate conditions.

Falken Tire Corp. unveiled its all-new ultra high performance, all-season tire – the Ziex ZE950 A/S – at the 2013 SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo (booth #41013)

The tire – a successor to the Ziex ZE912 – features Dynamic Range Technology (DRT) to provide maximum performance in a wide range of climate conditions, along with an innovative tread design, according to the tiremaker, which added these features have attributed to 18% better tread life and 10% better winter traction compared to the Ziex ZE912.

“Part of our job as a tire manufacturer is to address the needs of the market and listen to the feedback we receive, not only at the dealer level but from consumers as well,” said Andrew Hoit, vice president of marketing at Falken Tire. In previous years, Falken conducted various dealer and consumer surveys to identify improvement areas of the ZE912 to enhance the next-generation tire.

“We allowed the market to drive the development points of the Ziex ZE912 successor and we took R&D to the next level. The Ziex ZE950 A/S is the most advanced all season tire we’ve ever put into the market and we’re positive it will be well received,” Hoit added.

Falken said the ZE950 A/S is a true “mega line” that offers 95 sizes to help dealers reduce inventory and simplify inventory management.
