Falken Tires introduced the Azenis FK510 UHP summer tire and the motorsports-inspired Azenis RT615K+ tire at this week’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The Azenis FK510 is designed for drivers of premium vehicles looking for excellent grip and outstanding performance, according to the tiremaker, which added that Falken engineers enhanced both wear and wet weather traction using 4D Nano Design to optimize high performance compounds.

“We’re thrilled to debut the new Azenis FK510 at SEMA this year,” said Rick Brennan, vice president of marketing for Falken Tires. “Falken’s technology advancements have enabled us to expand the limits of ultra high performance, which allows the FK510 to offer a higher level of precision handling and grip that driving enthusiasts will truly enjoy.”

The tire’s features include: a hybrid undertread cap ply for high-speed stability; four circumferential grooves to disperse water and enhance hydroplane resistance; Adaptive Constant Pressure pattern design; switchback siping; wide shoulder blocks to enhance high-speed cornering and lateral grip; and variable sipe depth.

The FK510 covers a wide range of today’s luxury sport vehicles, including staggered applications, and is available in sizes ranging from 17 to 21 inches.

Developed for the maximum performance-minded driver, the Azenis RT615K+ is the evolution of Falken’s original competition-winning RT615K tire. The Plus encompasses an all-new digitally-engineered, nanotech-formulated compound for superior grip and excellent handling, according to Falken, which added that the tire’s straight line and cornering traits allow drivers to push the limits of their vehicle in safe, closed-course environments, while its street capable durability and DOT approval allow for street-legal daily use.

“The Azenis RT615K+ is a superior tire for drivers looking to safely push their limits,” Brennan said. “We are excited for the launch of the RT615+, this product features the latest in Falken Tires’ engineering and technology, making it the ultimate driving tire.”

The Azenis RT615K+ is available in 21 sizes ranging from 14- to 18-inch rim diameters and comes with a 200 A-A UTQG rating.
