Live at SEMA: ACDelco Launches Advantage Chassis Lineup

ACDelco has introduced a new, economically priced Advantage line of aftermarket chassis components designed to provide the growing number of owners of older vehicles with a high-quality, brand-name alternative to competitors’ parts, the company said.

“Because cars in North America are aging, consumers’ automotive repair needs and priorities are changing. The ACDelco Advantage Chassis lineup allows our distributors and service center customers to serve their customers with competitively priced products that offer fit, form and function similar to that of our great OE service parts,” said Vincent House, ACDelco product manager, around the wheel.

The ACDelco Advantage Chassis lineup, which will begin rolling out to distributors during the next several weeks, will launch with more than 1,000 part numbers representing 90% of the volume of the premium ACDelco Professional Chassis lineup, which covers 95% of the North American market, according to the company.

All items – including ball joints, idler arms, control arms, pitman arms, drag links/center links/sway bar links, tie rod ends and suspension bushings – are covered by a 12-month, 12,000-mile parts warranty.

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
