He reports directly to CEO, Ian Fraser. House’s initial focus will be to develop new trading strategies for the U.K. business and to leverage buying synergies amongst other Kwik-Fit Group companies. He will also be tasked with extracting greater value from the company’s supply chain.
Prior to joining Kwik-Fit Paul spent 18 years in a number of managerial roles at Tesco, most recently as commercial director of the retail giant’s Hungarian operation. He was responsible for developing the commercial structure for Tesco’s Hungarian business, which since became the standard for Tesco across Europe.
Ian Fraser commented: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to the team. He has enjoyed a highly successful career at Tesco and he brings with him a wealth of retail expertise that will be invaluable in driving the business forward.”
House added: “I look forward to taking up this challenging role at Kwik-Fit. There are considerable opportunities to increase the purchasing synergies within the Kwik-Fit Group and to unlock even more potential from the supply chain."
