Kumho Tire USA donated 30 suite tickets for the NBA All-Star 2017 game in New Orleans to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana.
The donation of consists of access to the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge, State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and the 66th NBA All-Star Game.
“Kumho appreciates this opportunity to create a positive impact on the members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana’s future,” said Harry Choi, CEO of Kumho Tire USA. “We hope the wide variety of healthy afterschool activities at the NBA All-Star 2017 will promote cooperation by demonstrating the strength of the team and value contribution each individual player.”
Kumho wanted to donate the tickets to offer teens a valuable life lesson about upright sportsmanship, cooperation, socialization, confidence and accountability, the tiremaker said.
The 66th NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 19 at Smoothie King Center.
