Kings Road Tyres to Offer Products Online

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Kings Road Tyres began wholesaling over 30 years ago and was one of the few companies that, back then, saw the need for an alternative supply chain into the market.

Since that time, KRT has developed a nationwide delivery system operating from its own distribution centres throughout the U.K. and Ireland, using its own fleet of vehicles, and over the years, has built a consistent distribution service.

The most recent development at the company sees KRT keeping pace with future trends. From the early part of 2007, the wholesaler will offer its products online. Full details of this service will be available soon, the company said.

The company’s philosophy is to provide a ‘One Stop Shop’ for U.K. tyre distributors, and this means keeping a regular stock of everything from wheelbarrow tyres to the largest earthmover tyres inventory in its seven warehouses. By keeping one of the largest and most comprehensive inventories in the U.K., KRT said it can cater for most needs, yet maintain keen prices, given the fiercely competitive nature of the market.

KRT has built long term relationships with major suppliers to work in partnership and promote certain makes such as: Bridgestone, Firestone, Cooper, Lassa and Tigar. And, in truck tyres: Bridgestone, Continental, Firestone, Kumho, Lassa and Infinity. In the agricultural segment, the Goodyear, Pirelli, Firestone, Taurus and Kormoran brands predominate.
