Kenda Promotes Director of OE Automotive Sales

American Kenda Rubber has promoted Ken Albers to director of its North American business unit, original equipment sales automotive.

American Kenda Rubber has promoted Ken Albers to director of its North American business unit, original equipment sales automotive.

“The integration process of tires on domestic passenger car programs is dependent on communication and coordination between overseas engineering, manufacturing facilities, and the OEM customer,” said Albers. “I am excited to work with Kenda’s top-notch engineering facility in Green, Ohio, as we grow our business.”

Albers has a background in engineering development, research, and program management. Prior to his new role, Albers was the OE program manager where he oversaw the successful development and implementation of tire fitments for numerous passenger vehicle applications.

“Ken has led technology teams to define customer requirements, create objective targets, and guide engineering solutions with a career spanning electric appliances to hybrid vehicles,” said American Kenda Rubber President Jimmy Yang. “Ken’s engineering background will offer Kenda more opportunities to meet our corporate goals to be a global OE supply partner.”
