Kenda Extends NBA Rockets Sponsorship

Kenda Tires has signed a multi-year contract with the Huston Rockets NBA team, extending its current sponsorship agreement.

Kenda Tires has signed a multi-year contract with the Huston Rockets NBA team, extending its current sponsorship agreement.

“This has been a tremendous partnership for the Rockets and we are thrilled to have Kenda with us again,” said Tad Brown, Rockets and Clutch City Sports & Entertainment chief executive. “Kenda is completely aligned with our organization’s position as an international sports property and we believe this partnership will continue to enhance both companies.”

Kenda will remain an official partner of the Rockets until the end of the 2014-15 NBA season with the new deal. The tiremaker will continue to have marketing rights to the team, in addition to TV signage and hospitality at the Toyota Center. Additionally, Kenda will be a presenting sponsor of a Rocket’s game night this season.

“The team has a great core of young players and we believe it is only the beginning. Similar to the culture at Kenda, the Rockets organization has built a winning product and we wish them the best in the upcoming seasons,” said Eric Yang, Kenda’s automotive marketing manager.
