Ken-Tool Releases DIY Consumer Kit

Ken-Tool, a tire and wheel service product supplier, announced the launch of the DIY reCore TPMS Valve Stem Repair Kit.

The kit allows consumers a do-it-yourself approach to repair damaged aluminum TPMS valve stems, Ken-Tool said.

The kit includes two repair stems, a custom stepped drill bit, a tap, tap holder, a valve core torque tool and a 2 ml vial of thread locker. Customers using the kit must use their own high-speed drill, needle nosed pliers and a way to re-inflate the tire plus eye protection.

Treads Partners with Anyline for Enhanced Car Management

Anyline and Treads partnered to include data and analytics via the Treads app, starting with Anyline’s Tread Depth Scanner.

Anyline has partnered with Treads, an AI-powered car management subscription, to offer its car owners more mobile data capture and analytic features within the Treads mobile app. Treads launched in May 2021 and has since expanded into 21 major United States markets with over 4,000 customers offering subscriptions for tires, oil changes, alignments and wiper blades as well as a full auto insurance marketplace.
