Michael Bolingbroke, president of the Inter Milan soccer club, admitted to Inter shareholders that Pirelli’s sponsorship of the club could be coming to an end, reports Tribal Football.
“In June we’ll celebrate 20 years with Pirelli as a partner and as far as I know it’s the longest partnership in football history,” said Bolingbroke. “It seems impossible to imagine ourselves without Pirelli, but everything comes to an end. We are currently negotiating with them in order to understand what to do. In a commercial partnership, both parties must take advantage. We are not talking about money but rather advantages that we could bring to Pirelli through our project.”
