iATN Goes Premium in Automotive Classrooms

The International Automotive Technicians Network (iATN) offers a new program that allows automotive instructors to activate iATN’s premium access membership features for their school’s current students and automotive instructors. With the program, instructors and students can use iATN in the classroom to learn from real-world automotive repair experiences posted on the network. They also can access iATN’s additional features, including its search engine for its FIX Database, forum archives and Waveform library.
The premium access program for schools costs a single fee of $45 per month, per school location. To take advantage of the new program, primary account holders can upgrade an existing iATN account to the Business+ Premium Membership or join as a new member.
iATN also is lowering the age requirement for Student Memberships from 18 to 16 years of age to accommodate requests from high school instructors who were interested in using iATN in the classroom. With Student Memberships, instructors can easily invite their students onto iATN, and they will have a “read-only” iATN account to use in the classroom.
Student Memberships are available to individuals attending automotive educational training courses at a high school, college, vocational school or similar, and who are referred by an instructor who is an existing iATN member. Instructors who would like to invite their students to join iATN should visit here.
