Hunter Engineering Co. has updated its 6-sensor WinAlign HD alignment system to measure and align twin-steer vehicles.
The updated WinAlign HD now includes two sensors on the reference (rear) axle and two sensors on each steering axle to “ensure that they are timed to turn at the exact same rate while simultaneously ensuring parallelism,” Hunter said.
The alignment system’s six-sensor technology also makes it the only system in the world that maintains its reference through the entire procedure, Hunter adds.
The WinAlign software version 14.4 includes onboard training to guide the technician through the alignment process and Quick Comp rolling compensation that saves time by eliminating the need to jack each axle, Hunter said.
