Homicide Investigation Underway at Texas Tire Shop

Police are investigating the death of a Brownsville, Texas, tire dealer after finding him dead in his shop.

Police are investigating the death of a Brownsville, Texas, tire dealer after finding him dead in his shop, local media reports.

Jose Guadalupe Martinez, 50, was found at Military Tire & Wheel last Wednesday around 8 p.m. after Brownsville police were called out to the shop. Officers reported Martinez was found lying facedown on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head.

Brownsville police are investigating the death as a homicide and are currently trying to find a motive for Marinez’s murder, local media reports.

Police are asking anyone who has information about the case to contact the Brownsville Crime Stoppers at 956-546-TIPS (8477).
