Hennessy Adds Extension Clamp Kits - Tire Review Magazine

Hennessy Adds Extension Clamp Kits

(Akron/Tire Review) Hennessy Industries has introduced three extension clamp kits that will allow dealers to handle larger diameter wheels and tires with their existing Coats tire changers.

The clamp kits increase the clamping capacity of the Coats 50X, 70X, and 9024E Rim Clamp Tire Changers and provide ease-of-use and flexibility needed to handle nearly any tire/wheel mounting, the company said.

Included are a 28-inch extension clamp kit for the Coats 50X and 70X Series to externally clamp 16- to 28-inch wheels; a 4-inch extension clamp kits for Coats 90 Series changers; and a 2-inch extension kit.

“These new Coats extension clamps will provide our large installed base of 50X and 70X Series and 9024E users with maximum application coverage,” said Andrew Vecci, group marketing manager for Hennessy. “Our customers won’t need to purchase another tire changer to accommodate larger OE and custom aftermarket wheel sizes; they can simply change the clamps based on their customer needs.”
