Hankook Steps Up to the Plate With Fall Promo

The "Great Hit" consumer rebate offer will run between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30.

Hankook Tire America Corp. is continuing its baseball-themed sales promotions, launching its fall installment of the "Great Hit" consumer rebate offer.

In the promo, consumers who purchase four select Hankook tires from an authorized Hankook dealer between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 will receive an $80 mail-in rebate.

Eligible tires include the Hankook Ventus V12 evo, the Hankook Optimo H426 and the Hankook Optimo H727.

“This promotion not only allows consumers to save money on the purchase of a new set of high quality Hankook tires, but save at the gas pump while at the same time helping to save the environment,” the company said. “Hankook’s new Optimo H426 provides improved rolling resistance performance via an advanced silica rubber compound and tread design.”

The “Great Hit” promotion also includes a consumer car giveaway that will award one grand-prize winner the keys to a new 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 sedan. Consumers can register online for the giveaway at hankooktireusa.com/greathit2011 between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 to enter the random drawing for the grand prize.

Hankook will be promoting the Great Hit rebate and car giveaway through print, television and online channels. Additionally, Hankook TV commercials will add a “2011 Great Hit” tag to TV spots running on various cable and regional networks.
