Hankook Sponsors Mercedes-Benz ‘Stars & Cars’ Event

Hankook_StarsundCarHankook Tire Corp. has partnered with Mercedes-Benz as main sponsor of the carmaker’s “Stars & Cars” event.

“Stars & Cars” is the traditional season windup on Mercedes- Benz motorsports. The event, scheduled for Dec. 12, is expected to get 45,000 visitors.

“As the original equipment provider for various Mercedes-Benz cars, SUVs and trucks, we have been a global partner with Daimler AG for a while,” said Ho-Youl Pae, Hankook’s head of Europe. “We have also been working together very successfully with Mercedes-Benz motorsports for a long time in international motorsports such as formula, touring and GT racing. Now to be selected as the exclusive tire partner and main sponsor for Stars & Cars 2015 is a great honor for us.”

Hankook will be on hand at the event showing spectators how tires of racing vehicles are mounted and passing out information on Hankook’s consumer products.
