Hankook Profits Grew in 2005

(Akron/Tire Review) Hankook Tire Co.’s net profit grew by more than one-quarter in 2005 from the year before, according to the Korean newspaper JoongAng Daily.

The newspaper reported that the tiremaker’s earnings rose jumped 27.7%, to $213.6 million, and sales were up 8.7%.
