The company says the Gripex snow tire was developed to withstand the winter weather and distinct terrain of northern Japan.

GRI says it has developed and launched an off-the-road (OTR) winter tire for the Japanese specialty tire market, which will be released in the U.S. in the fall.

The company says the Gripex snow tire was developed to withstand the winter weather and distinct terrain of Hokkaido prefecture in northern Japan.

GRI says the Gripex Snow tire provides a stronger grip and better traction in deep snow. The company says the tire underwent testing in-house as well as independently to fine-tune the product and meet specifications.
