Following yesterday’s news that Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. tapped Richard Kellam as senior vice president, global sales and marketing, the tiremaker announced additional changes to its leadership, effective September 1.
Jack Winterton, president of North America consumer, will assume a new role as vice president, global sales and marketing. According to the company, Winterton will be a critical leader in the new global sales and marketing function and will report to Kellam. The company said that Winterton will help lead the alignment of Goodyear’s customer-facing capabilities around the world in the development of a global sales and marketing operating system.
“Jack brings not only industry and customer expertise to this team, but also organizational credibility and respect,” said Richard J. Kramer, Goodyear’s chairman and chief executive officer. “His perspective and experience will be essential to driving integrated sales and marketing processes, as we work from the market back to enhance the customer and consumer experience.”
Winterton will be succeeded by Ryan Patterson as president of Goodyear’s North America consumer business. Most recently, Patterson was vice president consumer operations and customer development. Patterson will report to Steve McClellan, president North America.
