Goodyear hopes the increase in radial production, due to start in June, will help it become one of India’s top selling tire brands.
In addition to the production increase, Goodyear reportedly plans to open 42 more branded retail tire stores across India, which will give it 59 company-tagged stores and 8,200 distribution points in India.
Goodyear has an 18% share of the country’s radial passenger and truck tire segments and a 35% share of India’s farm tire market.
