Goodyear-Fleet HQ 24/7 Emergency Roadside Service program helped a record number of truck drivers in August. The service helped 15,375 trucks return to service, eclipsing the previous record of 15,026 service calls in July 2015, according to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
The service was also very busy the rest of the summer, the tiremaker said.
“June through August, our industry-leading Goodyear-Fleet HQ 24/7 Emergency Roadside Service program helped put more than 44,900 trucks back on the road,” said Jose Martinez, business solutions manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems.
Year-to-date the service has assisted more than 91,300 trucks return to service in 2015.
Goodyear-FleetHQ Emergency Roadside Service delivers roll-time of two hours and 11 minutes on average, according to the company. Additionally, the company noted that using Goodyear-FleetHQ Emergency Roadside Service also gives fleets and owner-operators access to more than 2,200 Goodyear-affiliated commercial tire service providers from coast to coast.
In addition to contacting the Goodyear-FleetHQ Solution Center through the Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center website, drivers also can call 1-866-353-3847 or contact Goodyear-FleetHQ through the Goodyear Road Service App, which is available for both iPhones and Androids.
