Giti Tire (USA), Ltd. announced the company will supply H speed-rated original equipment tires, the GitiComfort XA1 in size 215/65R17, for the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV produced at the Volkswagen plant in Puebla, Mexico. The vehicle is a turbocharged 2.0-liter TSI I-4 that features an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive system with four driving modes for various terrain.

The GitiComfort XA1 is Giti’s new premium all-season tire specifically designed for today’s crossover vehicles. With a focus on ride comfort, low noise and crisp handling, it features Giti’s unique “binary resin traction system” for outstanding performance in both snow and wet conditions.
Giti Tire (pronounced “G-T” tire) began producing passenger and light truck tires in the U.S. last year with the opening of the company’s 1.8-million-square-foot plant in Chester County, South Carolina. The plant will produce five million passenger and light truck tires annually for the replacement and original equipment tire markets when at full capacity.
