Alliance, Ohio-based Terry’s Tire Town celebrated its 40th birthday in a big and creative way, inviting 500 friends and customers to enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and a dinner catered by five distinct food trucks.
Most of Terry’s tire suppliers were on hand and pitched in for the occasion meeting with customers and their families. Bridgestone Americas helped arrange for an appearance by the Firestone-shod Bigfoot monster truck and autograph sessions by Cleveland Brown heroes Hanford Dixon (shown here signing a photo for a visitor) and Frank Minnifield.
The Sept. 28 event was also supported by American Car Care Centers, for which Terry’s serves as a member distributor. Terry’s Tire Town operations in New England specifically Englewood Tire and Summit Tire which were acquired in recent years held their own anniversary celebrations, Terry’s officials said.
