Firestone Complete Auto Care launched a new version of its Web site, www.firestonecompleteautocare.com, which provides new features designed to take the hassle out of shopping for automotive service and maintenance.

The site introduces visitors to the services that the company offers – maintenance, repairs and tires. Visitors can schedule appointments online and have maintenance reminders and special promotions automatically delivered to their e-mail inboxes.

The site also features the following information: proper air pressure, maintenance, pricing and technology of specific tires; recommended maintenance schedules for specific vehicles; the difference between maintenance and repairs; and the ability to locate the nearest Firestone Complete Auto Care store. Continental appoints new ‘head of region’ for the US, Canada

Continental revealed that Rob Schroeder, former Sr. manager of operations, marketing and analytics, will take over the responsibility of head of region for the United States and Canada. In this role, he will oversee all of material handling, port, earthmoving and agriculture tire business in the United States and Canada. The appointment took effect April 1.
