A fire at Wright’s Tire Services in Mono Way, Calif., has caused an estimated $15,000 in damage, according to local media.
A side structure on that houses old tires had extensive damage, according to the Sonora Fire Department, and the main building had minor damage on part of the roof. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading further to the lumber facility next door.
Investigators believe the fire was “intentionally started” after locating the origin point of the fire, according to reports.
The Sonora Police Department is conducting an investigation.
