Philip Halberg has been promoted to Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ newly created position of senior vice president of commercial strategy of North America.
In his new role, Halberg will report to CEO Dan Ninivaggi and lead a cross-functional team consisting of product management, sales, marketing and customer service to develop and implement a North American commercial strategy, Federal-Mogul said.
“Combining Phil’s significant leadership and expertise in the automotive aftermarket with a cross-functional approach will allow us to most effectively leverage our recent strategic investments in regional full product line distribution centers, improved IT infrastructure, ‘Tech First’ initiatives, brand development and product innovation,” said Ninivaggi.
Halberg joined Federal-Mogul in 2011 as director of business development for North America. He most recently served as the company’s vice president of strategic accounts for North America. Halberg has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y., and a MBA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in West Chester, Penn.
