Falken Tire Corp. signed its first sports sponsorship outside the realm of motorsports: a deal with the Detroit Tigers.
The sponsorship will include Falken brand signage for the entire season on each side of the Comerica Park centerfield scoreboard.
“Connecting with Detroit’s passionate baseball fans is one of many ways that we plan on increasing Falken Tire’s visibility and participation in this extremely important region,” said Rick Brennan, executive director of marketing at Falken Tire Corp. “We look forward to joining the Tigers in what promises to be a great 2015 season.”
The Falken team will also be on-site on opening day, April 6, against the Minnesota Twins, as well as during nine other game days. Falken representatives will be greeting fans with free lanyards and other Falken-branded giveaways.
