Falken Returns as JK Experience Sponsor

Falken Tire announced it will return as the presenting sponsor of the Off Road Evolution’s JK Experience, a week-long event that promotes and showcases the off-road and on-road capabilities of the Jeep Wrangler JK. In addition to the three day event in January called the JK Experience Challenge, the series will expand with a “family friendly” three-day trip in June along with the traditional week-long JK Experience in September.

Falken said it currently has developed a special Jeep of its own, which has been modified to handle extreme off-road conditions, but runs on the tiremaker’s WildPeak All-Terrain tire.

WildPeak A/T features an aggressive stance for maximum traction, plus a rigid block design for on-road response and off-road handling. Falken said WildPeak is currently available in 27 sizes ranging from 15- to 20-inch diameters in metric and LT metric with many plus-sized applications. In January 2011, Falken will add an additional 17 Large Overall Diameter (LOD) sizes from 33- to 37-inch tall tires for 17-, 18- and 20-inch wheel fitments.
