Falken Partners with Rock Climbing Champ

Sumitomo Rubber Industries’ Falken tire brand has partnered with world-champion rock climber Sasha DiGiulian. DiGiulian will be featured in the company’s “Grip the Moment” campaign.

“Grip the Moment” reminds people to embrace the journey as much as the destination, and features athletes who embody that spirit, Sumitomo said.

“In climbing, performance and grip are everything,” said DiGiulian. “I love the creativity behind Falken Tires and the brand’s dedication to high-performance. I’m very excited to work together to not only bolster the sport of climbing but to share my adventures with the Falken fan base.”

Tire Discounters Acquires The Tire Barn

Tire Discounters said it has acquired several businesses throughout Georgia over the last two years.

Tire Discounters has expanded its Georgia footprint metro with a new location in Gainesville following the acquisition of The Tire Barn. This new store will increase the overall presence in Georgia to 22 locations.

“The Atlanta metro area is important for us as we continue to grow our business, in part to the growing number of vehicles on the road each year,” said Jamie Ward, president and CEO of Tire Discounters. “The Tire Barn and the Roper family are a staple of the Gainesville community and we will continue their focus on earning the community’s business and trust.”
