Ecosystem Takes on Evashred U.K. Distributorship

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Ecosystem Ltd. has become the U.K. distributor for Evashred tyre shredders made by FV Evans & Sons NZ.

These machines may be new to the U.K., but they have been successfully sold into New Zealand and Australia for many years. According to the new UK distributor, the machines can be built with electric or hydraulic motors and can be supplied static, or mobile in a truck for on site shredding.

There are two versions available, the Evashred EV60 and EV110. The Evashred EV60 shreds passenger car tyres into hundreds of pieces in 10-15 seconds. The capacity is up to 3,000 kilos per hour. The Evashred EV110 features larger cutters and motor and is designed to process truck tyres. The Evashred EV110 can process up to 6,000 kilos per hour.

FV Evans & Sons also manufactures tyre debeaders and with their trade partners, can supply all the equipment for the complete tyre recycling process. Ecosystem Ltd. specialise in the supply and service of shredding machines.

FV Evans & Sons is based in Wellington, N.Z. The company produces a range of equipment for industries including sawmills, car assembly plants, and tyre and plastic bag manufacturers. They have been in business more than 60 years and have been actively building and designing industrial shredding equipment since 1998. The cutters are made from oil-heat hardened steel or bis-alloy. About 10% of the company’s total production is shredders.
