This facility, according to Romania’s national press agency Rompres, will produce injectors and other components for diesel engines.
The facility will be located in the northeast city of Iasi, close to the country’s border with Moldova. It is anticipated that more than a thousand workers will be employed there. The word from Delphi headquarters in Troy, Mich., is that the new plant is required to keep pace with rising demand.
