Cleveland-based Dealer Tire has launched a direct-to-consumer retail website, RightTurn.com, that will send consumers to car dealerships for installation services.
The launch follows a trial in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Cleveland areas and allows consumers to order tires online that are shipped from Dealer Tire’s network of 42 warehouses across the U.S. and Canada.
For installation, the website offers certified installation at more than 8,000 car dealerships nationwide, said Jane Lamb, Dealer Tire’s chief marketing officer.
“While we carry thousands of different tire sizes from 18 different manufacturers, we make the tire purchase process simpler for consumers,” said Lamb. “RightTurn users will see that we recommend just a handful of tire options, each based upon their vehicle make and model, their vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment tire specifications, and the conditions in which their vehicle is driven, such as annual mileage, weather and the type of driving they do.”
RightTurn.com also offers consumer an all-in-one price that includes free delivery to the consumer’s local car dealership and installation at a scheduled time. RightTurn.com also honors vehicle manufacturers’ national consumer tire promotions, the company adds.
