TRIB announced that the American Commercial Tire Network, a member since 2004, is continuing its support and has increased its contribution to TRIB.

"We are delighted at the continued strong endorsement of TRIB by the members of ACTN,” said TRIB managing director Harvey Brodsky. “We cannot mention the amount of their contribution for 2010, but suffice to say it is very significant, and for that we are grateful since it goes a long way towards helping TRIB continue its important mission for retreading and tire repairing.”

In addition, TRIB announced that German retread equipment maker Collmann GmbH & Company KG has joined the association.

Continental revealed that Rob Schroeder, former Sr. manager of operations, marketing and analytics, will take over the responsibility of head of region for the United States and Canada. In this role, he will oversee all of material handling, port, earthmoving and agriculture tire business in the United States and Canada. The appointment took effect April 1.
