County, City Pony Up for Tire Plant

(Akron/Tire Review) Rockingham County, N.C., officials and Mayodan city council approved an incentive package in a move to lure Bridgestone Corp.’s aircraft tire division to build a plant there.

The county approved a six-year, $340,000 package, and the city added $284,000 in incentives, according to reports.
