Reaffirming their commitment to Hankook Tire America Corp., Montgomery County officials will build an emergency services complex to serve the tiremaker’s plant that is being constructed in Clarksville, Tenn.
The emergency services complex was promised to the tiremaker as part of an incentive package used to lure the $800 million project, The Leaf Chronicle reports.
On Monday, Tire Review reported that site preparation for the Hankook plant is underway and scheduled to be completed by Aug. 31. When completed, the facility will produce high-end performance tires at an annual production rate of about 11 million.
