Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s CS5 Touring tire has earned a 2014 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The CS5 was selected from several thousands of entries from more than 47 countries, according to Cooper.
“Earning the Good Design Award for our new CS5 Touring tire from the most longstanding and recognized programs for design excellence is proof of Cooper’s continued commitment to producing innovative, quality products that perform,” said Scott Jamieson, the company’s director of product management.
The Good Design Award is based on criteria including innovative design, new technologies, form, materials, construction, concept, function, utility, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment.
