Cooper, S3 Magazine Search for Cover Car

(Akron/Tire Review) Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is teaming up with Speed, Style & Sound (S3) magazine to find “a cool car” to appear on the cover of the publication’s November 2006 issue.

Cooper is inviting enthusiasts to post photos of their vehicles – including all modifications – on coopertire.com. Deadline is Aug. 31. Entrants must include the name and location of their local Cooper tire dealer.

The winner will be chosen in October followed by a professional photo shoot of the vehicle and a two-page cover feature article in S3.

"We are growing consumer awareness of the Cooper brand around the world to get the maximum value from our brand," said Dave Craig, Cooper’s director of North American advertising. “We are developing a hot new image and our advertising and marketing programs are creating a buzz with a wide range of consumers from traditional tire buyers to automobile and race enthusiasts."
