Cooper Names Kreinbrink Albany Plant Manager

(Akron/Tire Review) Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has appointed Rodney A. Kreinbrink to the post of plant manager for its manufacturing facility in Albany, Ga.

The plant, Cooper’s third largest, produces about 11.5 million tires per year and employs about 1,600 people. Kreinbrink replaces William Bonner, who retired at the end of 2005.

Kreinbrink had previously been production manager in the Albany plant. Over his 17-year career with Cooper, he has served in various engineering and manufacturing capacities, including director, reliability engineering at the tiremaker’s headquarters in Findlay, Ohio.

Kreinbrink holds an MBA from the University of Tiffin (Tiffin, Ohio) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
