Continental Opens Service Centre in Jordan

On Dec. 18, Continental Group opened its first Continental tyre shop in Amman, Jordan, in partnership with Nasco Automotive, the exclusive importer of Continental products in that country since 2007.

Nasco offers all Continental summer tyres and General Tire-branded passenger and light truck, commercial vehicle and industrial tyres. The selected distribution channels in Jordan are wholesalers as well as retailers. “We have been carefully selected to represent some of the world’s most reliable and superior premium tyre brands to serve all the segments in the respective markets of Jordan, Egypt, Sudan and Iraq. And we are proud to be the exclusive partner of Continental in Jordan,” said Badie Dayeh, business development and marketing manager of Nasco.

“Nasco is a very professional, fast-growing company with a highly motivated team working in the tyre business. The decision to allocate our flagship brand as Continental in 2007 was exactly the right move. The new shop with its exclusive location is underlining the premium level of Continental and helps to increase the brand awareness in the market,” commented Andreas Bertram, area sales manager for the middle and northern East regions, as well as northern Africa at Continental AG.
The Nasco group is one of the leading companies in Jordan and the whole region with operations in Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine and The United Arab Emirates. The company name stands for Nicola Abu Khader & Sons Co. Ltd. Nasco is exclusive importer for passenger cars from General Motors and Fiat as well as for commercial vehicles from Mitsubishi and Fuso. The tyre business is organized by Nasco Automotive, which is one division of Nasco Ltd. (Tyres & Accessories/Staffordshire, U.K.)
