Continental Tire the Americas debuted its new Continental brand TV commercial during this past weekend’s broadcast of the 24 Hours at Daytona.
The official tire of the Grand-Am series, the Continental “commercial captures Continental’s passion for racing and excellence,” according to the tiremaker.
"It is said that passion is the genesis of racing. It’s what propels us forward, pushes us further… and faster – to exceed our own limitations," says the narrator of the 30-second spot. The imagery shows race drivers securing their helmets before tackling a Grand-Am course.
“The commercial targets car enthusiasts with a passion for the open road, racing and the adrenaline rush of performance,” the tiremaker said.
The spot was produced by Mad Media of Oceanside, Calif., and was filmed at VIR race track in Virginia during a tire test session.
The Continental Grand-Am TV commercial will be aired on Speed during Grand-Am race broadcasts during 2011.
